XAMPPインストール方法 †

すでにApache, PHP, MySQLなどをインストール済みの場合、予めアンインストールします。
http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.htmlを開きます。現時点(2006年8月)で次のインストールが可能であることが分かります。
- The XAMPP 1.5.3a (SSI bug fixed)
- Apache 2.2.2
- MySQL 5.0.21
- PHP 5.1.4
- phpMyAdmin 2.8.1
- XAMPP Control Panel Version 2.3
- FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.16c
[Installer]をクリックします。
『xampp-win32-1.5.3a-installer.exe』を適当なフォルダに保存してから実行します。
次の条件でインストールします。
- 言語: Japanese
- インストール先フォルダ(デフォルト値): C:\Program Files
必要なときだけ起動するので、『Install XAMPP servers (Apache, MySQL or FileZilla FTP) as service?』には「いいえ」を選択します。

Apache + PHP + MySQL環境設定方法 †

[プログラム] - [apachefriends] - [xampp] - [CONTROL XAMPP SERVER PANEL]
Apache, MySQLのstartボタンをクリックします。
MySQLを起動した状態で、Adminボタンをクリックします。
WinMySQLadmin Ver 1.4が起動し、WinMySQLadmin Quick Setupウィンドウが開くので、
```
User name: foo
Password: s**** *****
```
を入力し、OKボタンをクリックします。
タスクバーに信号機アイコンの形で起動するので、[show me]を選択してウィンドウを開きます。
http://localhost/xampp/が表示できることを確認します。
左メニューのphpinfo()をクリックすると、phpの動作状況が分かります。

バーチャルホスト設定 †

バーチャルホストを設定すると、開発するサイト毎にWindows上のディレクトリを対応付けられます。

c:\Program Files\xampp\apache\conf\httpd.confを開きます。
一番最後に次のように記述します。

Listen 50000
<VirtualHost *:50000>
    DocumentRoot c:/papuu
</VirtualHost>
<Directory "c:/papuu">
    Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes ExecCGI
    AllowOverride None
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all
</Directory>
```
備考: Apache2.xからセキュリティの設定が強くなったため、Directorの部分が抜けていると、『Access forbidden! 要求されたディレクトリへのアクセス権限がありません。 Error 403』のページが開いてしまいます。
c:\papuu\index.htmlファイルを作成します。
ブラウザで、http://localhost:50000/を開いてみます。

Windowsからメールを送るための設定方法 †

SMTP = ★SMTPサーバ名を記入
smtp_port = 25

; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = foo@foo.jp
; ↑★Fromに設定するアドレスを記入

; For Unix only.  You may supply arguments as well (default: "sendmail -t -i").
sendmail_path = "C:\Program Files\xampp\sendmail\sendmail.exe -t"
; ↑★コメントを外して、有効にする。

C:\Program Files\xampp\sendmail\sendmail.ini †

; if your smtp server requires authentication, modify the following two lines

;auth_username=
;auth_password=

; if your smtp server uses pop3 before smtp authentication, modify the 
; following three lines

;pop3_server=
;pop3_username=

; ↑★これらをメールサーバに合わせて設定する。

備考: sendmail_pathのコメントアウトをしないで、メールサーバにアクセスすると、ブラウザ上に次のようなエラーメッセージが表示されました。

Warning: mb_send_mail() [function.mb-send-mail]: 
SMTP server response: 503 No recipient(s).
